Substantial earnings for Intel
Intel has started to catch up with it’s rival, AMD. The advanced technology and the Intel company and the affordable prices of the entry-level processors series have lead to significant increase of the sales number in the conditions in which the world wide market is currently stagnating due to the economical crisis.
Intel managed to get 10.8 billion dollars in revenue for the second trimester of the year and a net profit of 2.9 billion dollars. The revenue of the company are increasing, 34% higher compared to the same period of last year.
” The high demand from corporate clients for the most advanced Intel microprocessors has given the company it’s best trimester in history” said Paul Otellini, president and CEO of Intel. We wonder, is the best year for Intel the worst for AMD ?
