Security experts give a warning to Facebook users not to access the link that offers them the possibility to access the Dislike button.
Those who do this are tricked to accept the access of an application to their profile page, which will then send spam messages and will try to convince you to fill in a web form.
The “Dislike” scam was thought to be the opposite of the “Like” button, for users that want to express their negative opinions about posts, links and uploads.
But, according to Internet security companies, if you allow that application to run, it will update your status by posting the link that tricked you and it will spread to your friends or online contacts.
Eventually you will be redirected to a Firefox addon, where, allegedly you will find the Dislike button.
It looks like Facebook manages to become more and more the target of these types of attacks, offering hackers the possibility of exploiting the system vulnerabilities.
