Windows XP no longer has the same popularity as it once had. Windows XP lost almost 2% in popularity since September of this year.
It’s current level of popularity is the lowest in it’s entire history, dropping to a percentage of 55,5%. It is followed by Windows Vista who recorded a 9,1% loss in popularity in September.
But Windows 7 recorded a 1,8% increase in popularity thus making things a bit better for Microsoft, managing to reach a 32,% percentage.
Mac OS X established a new record as it’s increase in popularity in September was 6,5%.
The numbers suggest that Windows 7 tends to replace Windows Xp, but this evolution also depends on the moment Windows 8 will be released.
